The lineup for September 7th promises a varied and satisfying musical experience. The doors of the Hype Machine are thrown wide open when it comes to The Bad Plus. With Regret...
San Diego's Jazz community is mourning the loss of the superb vocalist Barbara Jamerson on August 20th. She will truly be missed, but her style and charisma will always be with us. Memorial Services will be held this morning at the New Creation Church, 3115 Altadena Ave, at 10am. Later, there will be a Celebration of Life Jam Session for Barbara Jamerson at Humphrey's from 1-5pm.

Marconi Nominee KSDS-FM
KSDS/Jazz 88.3 is proud to be nominated by the National Association of Broadcasters as 'Large Market Station of the Year'. As one of 5 Finalists, the recognition is both exciting and gratifying. The winner will be announced on September 18th.

Taylor Eigsti Jazz Live 9/16
Taylor Eigsti has been highly regarded for years and he's only 23. The next Jazz Live audience will have the opportunity to see what all the fuss is about. Taylor will be joined by guitarist Julian Lage Tuesday, September 16, 8pm, Saville Theatre, City College. Jazz 88.3 Members can reserve free tickets now at 619-388-3037.
